Mediterranean Mosaic
Geography with a ceramic touch. Mediterranean Mosaic breaks map areas into irregular tiles, with grout and small shifts in colour across the surface. Find a warm clay palette, a sea-blue mood or the quiet contrast of Delft Blue.

The charm of an uneven tile
Tile edges and glazed surface variation give larger geographic areas a handmade rhythm. The map remains visible beneath the ceramic pattern. Roman Mosaic uses smaller, more regular stone pieces; Stained Glass & Enamel keeps larger outlined compartments. Mediterranean Mosaic leans into the less uniform character of ceramic, without replacing the geography with ornamental tilework.
Find your starting style
Terracotta is warm and earthy. Aegean and Coastal explore lighter blues, Andalusian adds richer colour, and Delft Blue pairs cobalt with an off-white ceramic ground.

Give the tiles a generous canvas
Look for a view with broad geographic areas as well as streets, so the tile treatment can show. Adjust the colours and frame, then place any text away from the busiest detail. One marker can be a useful focal point on the patterned surface.
