Commercial permits business use of the purchased map artwork. It includes PNG, PDF and SVG under the package’s output policy.

License grant and permitted work
Cartivale grants a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the purchased output commercially, without an annual expiry. You may modify it and use it for business, marketing, promotional materials and client/project work. Delivery to a client is allowed as part of the finished commissioned work where reasonably necessary. That limited delivery does not grant a separate sublicense or permission to redistribute source maps or templates.
Resale and distribution restrictions
Commercial does not permit standalone resale of the Cartivale map/output, resale products or print-on-demand. Choose Creator / Resale for finished products you sell. Sublicensing and source/template redistribution are not permitted. You may not sell or distribute raw PNG/PDF/SVG output as a standalone downloadable map, editable/source map, template or competing design asset. SVG availability does not override these restrictions.
Attribution and underlying rights
Cartivale credit is omitted from paid exports. OpenStreetMap attribution must remain when the map is used, printed, edited or published. The underlying geographic data remains subject to its own Open Database License. You must hold the rights to any text or other content you add.
Scope, ownership and terms
This license covers the purchased artwork and grants no ownership of Cartivale software, templates or configuration. It does not entitle you to additional map designs. No artificial seat or print-run limits apply. OpenStreetMap rights remain separate. The Terms govern the service and applicable remedies; Dutch law applies without removing mandatory consumer protections. Contact [email protected] about the scope of a proposed use.
Files and continuing use
Paid file access lasts 30 days from confirmed payment. Download and keep your files during that period. The license for compliant use of the purchased output continues after download access ends, without an annual renewal requirement. PNG, PDF and SVG are included under the canonical package policy. Mandatory consumer rights and statutory remedies remain unaffected.
